The Digital Growth Officer will report directly to the Head of Member Experience and Business, Development, with additional reporting responsibilities to the Head of Digital and Technology. The Digital Growth Officer will develop, execute, monitor, and optimize digital growth strategies to create business value. The role provides operational accountabilities to the Technology and Digital Department.


  • Works with immediate supervisor (Member Experience) to build and execute social media strategy and plans through research, platform determination, benchmarking, and audience identification.
  • Grow and nurture the Institute’s social media following and brand loyalty on social media by agreed performance standards.
  • Supports content generation for the Institute’s social media platforms.
  • Attends to postings on various social media and digital platforms in accordance with social media and digital plans.
  • Identifies and advises on opportunities for lead generation from social media platforms.
  • Enforces search engine optimization tools to enhance the Institute’s online visibility.
  • Improving website performance by driving traffic and increasing conversions through website optimization.
  • Works with relevant departments in developing and implementing the digitization of the Institute’s internal processes across departments.
  • Supports the training of staff on digitization initiatives and programmes.
  • Promotes digital culture by introducing trends, initiatives, and programmes intended to ensure a shift from traditional trends.


  • Develop and maintain the Institute’s website in accordance with the Institute’s policies and brand guidelines.
  • Provides graphic design services by developing engaging concepts, creatives, and original content for campaigns, launches, flyers, and events with the view to promote brand awareness.

General Duties

Submit reports on the performance of website and social media platforms, and digitization
campaigns monthly.

Education Qualification

A first degree in Computer Science Technology, Communication Design, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of one-year post-qualification experience.

Competencies & Skills

  • Outstanding skills in web design, and photo-editing.
  • Knowledge of content creation.
  • Proven ability to manage social media platforms.
  • Ability to effectively use website and search engine optimization tools.
  • Knowledge of Brand management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop software
  • Ability to work effectively in a team is an essential requirement.
